I am an artist who is attempting to communicate some of the overwhelming feelings I have when I go out exploring, which is sometimes described it as 'Spirit of the Place'.

I work directly from observation in ink and charcoal into sketchbooks which I transfer to prints.

I am also an author and illustrator whose work has been recently featured in the Sunday Times and exhibited at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. I have had one childrens' book published and another due out next year.
